Frown lines form because the small muscles between your brows pull inward every time you concentrate, squint or frown. After enough years, the crease stays even when the expression has gone.
Jeuveau temporarily blocks the nerve signal to those muscles. With the muscle relaxed, the skin over it smooths and the line softens, while the rest of your face keeps moving as it always has. The treatment is targeted: the muscles around the ones treated are left alone.
The 11s are the one line most people notice in their own face first, because they are what you see in the mirror mid-thought. Softening them reads as rested, not treated.

The appointment
You tell Zayda which lines bother you. She watches how your brows and forehead move and tells you which areas, and which product, she would treat. Consultations are $40. The deposit is non-refundable and is credited toward your treatment.
A fine needle places a series of small injections into the targeted muscles. Most patients describe it as relatively painless. The whole visit takes about 10 to 20 minutes.
Do not rub the treated area for at least 24 hours, and skip strenuous activity for the rest of the day to lower the chance of bruising. You can go back to your routine almost immediately.
Softening starts within 2 to 3 days, with the full effect at 10 to 14 days. Results last about 3 to 4 months, depending on your metabolism and how active the muscles are. Maintenance visits sustain the result.

Cost
