Women's health and hormone optimization in Pleasanton, CA, built on a full lab panel, not a guess

Hormone optimization for women is a medical programme that measures your hormones, finds what has drifted and brings it back into a healthy range with treatment, nutrition and lifestyle support. At Radiance Wellness & Aesthetics in Pleasanton, Zayda Yeoh, NP, a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, orders the labs, reads them with you and builds the plan herself. It starts with a free 10-minute discovery call and a comprehensive hormone panel, so the first step is a conversation and a blood draw, never a prescription, and visits can be in the studio or by telehealth anywhere in California.

The symptoms that bring women in

Almost nobody arrives saying "my estrogen is low". They arrive with a list. The items Zayda hears most often:

  • Hot flashes, night sweats and irregular cycles in perimenopause and menopause
  • Exhaustion that eight hours of sleep does not touch
  • Weight that climbs, or will not move, when nothing about your diet or exercise has changed
  • Irritability, anxiety, brain fog or mood swings
  • Low libido
  • Insomnia or restless sleep
  • Irregular periods, weight gain and hair thinning from PMOS (formerly known as PCOS)
  • An underactive or overactive thyroid dragging on metabolism and mood
  • Hormonal hair loss and changes in skin quality

None of these is "just ageing" to be pushed through. Each one can be measured, and what can be measured can be treated.

What the programme includes

Zayda calls her approach a Metabolic Reset. It is a method rather than a package: the way every hormone plan at Radiance Wellness & Aesthetics is built, whatever your labs show.

The appointment

What to expect

  1. i

    Discovery call

A free 10-minute call with Zayda about your symptoms, your history and what you want back. It confirms hormone care is the right place to start and sets up your lab work.

  2. ii

    Lab work

A comprehensive hormone panel, drawn before your consultation so the appointment is spent on answers rather than on waiting for results.

  3. iii

    Consultation

You go through the results together, in the studio or by telehealth. Some women learn their symptoms are hormonal. Some learn the cause is something else, such as a thyroid problem, a nutrient deficiency or a sleep disorder, and the plan follows what the labs show.

  4. iv

    Plan

Treatment, nutrition, sleep and stress support, and any targeted medication, written for your chemistry. Hormones start at the lowest effective dose.

  5. v

    Follow-up

Monthly visits at first, then every three months once you are on a maintenance dose, with repeat labs so the plan answers to numbers as well as to how you feel. You see the same provider every time.

How soon you notice a difference

Sleep and energy usually move first, within the first two to four weeks. Mood, hot flashes and mental clarity tend to settle across months one and two. The full picture, including steadier weight and libido, emerges around months three to six, and monitoring continues after that. Individual results vary.

Candidacy

Is hormone optimization right for you?

You are likely a good candidate if you are:

  • in perimenopause, with irregular cycles, mood changes or restless sleep
  • in menopause, with hot flashes, night sweats, weight change or a low libido that will not lift
  • living with PMOS, a thyroid disorder or the effects of long-term stress on your adrenal hormones
  • symptom-free but interested in supporting bone density, thinking and healthy ageing before problems start

Hormone optimization is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of hormone-sensitive cancer, have an untreated blood clotting disorder or have certain liver conditions. The discovery call and the labs are how you find out which group you are in.

Cost

What affects the cost of hormone optimization in Pleasanton

The cost depends on the lab panel, which hormones your plan includes and in what form, how often you are seen in the first months, and whether nutrition visits or targeted medication are part of it. Zayda gives you the cost at the consultation, before anything is prescribed.

Radiance Wellness & Aesthetics does not bill insurance. Some medications can be run through your insurance at the pharmacy. Payment plans are available. If you also plan aesthetic treatments, the membership discounts those.

Questions

Hormone optimization questions, answered

Still unsure? Start with a free 10-minute discovery call, and Zayda will answer anything this page does not.

Do you offer telehealth for hormone therapy?

Yes. Hormone care is available by telehealth for patients anywhere in California, as well as in the Pleasanton studio. The sequence is the same either way: a free 10-minute discovery call, lab work, then your consultation and plan, with the same provider at every follow-up.

How much does hormone optimization cost in Pleasanton?

The cost at Radiance Wellness & Aesthetics depends on your lab panel, the hormones and delivery method in your plan, how often you are seen early on, and whether nutrition visits or other medication are included. Zayda gives you the full cost at the consultation. Insurance is not billed, though some medications can go through insurance at the pharmacy. Payment plans are available.

How do I know if my symptoms are hormonal?

Lab work is the only way to know for certain. Fatigue, weight gain, poor sleep and low mood overlap with thyroid problems, nutrient deficiencies and sleep disorders, which is why every plan at Radiance Wellness & Aesthetics begins with a full workup rather than a prescription.

What does hormone testing at Radiance Wellness & Aesthetics include?

A comprehensive panel, not one or two markers. It covers estrogen and progesterone, thyroid, adrenal and other key hormones, and metabolic indicators, so the plan reflects your whole chemistry.

How soon does hormone optimization start working?

Most women feel early changes in sleep, energy or mood within four to six weeks. Fuller benefits, including mood, hot flashes and mental clarity, tend to arrive around the three-month mark, and results continue to build over months three to six with ongoing adjustment.

How often will I be seen once I start hormone therapy?

Monthly at the beginning, while the dose is being dialled in, then every three months once you are on a maintenance dose. Repeat labs are part of those visits. Hormone therapy is never set and forgotten.

Can I try lifestyle changes before hormones?

Yes, and Zayda will support that. For some women, nutrition, sleep, stress management and targeted supplements close the gap. For others, hormone levels have dropped too far for lifestyle alone, and the labs show which group you are in.
